Speri - Valpolicella Classico DOC 2015

Very fruity fresh Valpolicella red wine from the Classico area

From Italy - Veneto - Valpolicella / Pedemonte - Speri

60% Corvina Veronese, 30% Rondinella, 10% Molinara

Valpolicella are red wines from the region east of Lake Garda and are developed as a cuvée of local grapes. There are usually light, fruity wines with good acidity which is served in the region with the meals. Unfortunately the reputation of these exciting wines was damaged by a few mass producers.

After the harvest, the berries are completely detached from the stems and the maceration for 8 days follows in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation is then completed in beton tanks and the young wine is bottled in February of the following year.

At the Valpolicella Classico the use of wood is completely omitted.
