The grandfather Orlando Viglino began in 1947 on the small farm on the edge of Treiso with the viticulture. Around 5ha of the 7ha the wine is cultivated, which is marketed under the nickname of the grandfather "Vigin". Since 2002 the grandson David Viglino has taken over the work in the wine cellar and thus launched a new era.

According to the family motto: "Quality ... from the vine to the bottle", only 7,000 bottles of Barbaresco DOCG are bottled annually from Montersino and Cottà. The program is complemented by Langhe Nebbiolo "Moody", Dolcetto d'Alba "Blackberry", Barbera d'Alba DOC "My Ruby" and Langhe Chardonnay DOC "Mery". In special years, the range is bottled with a Langhe DOC Rosso "Nonno Orlando" in honor of the grandfather and founder as a cuvée from Nebbiolo, Barbera, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
