The history of the Produttori del Barbaresco dates back to 1894 and could hardly be more varied and is now one of the best and most successful cooperatives in Italy. Originally founded by the Director of the School of Wine Alba, revived by a priest after the turmoil around 1958, the Produttori stands for Barbaresco / Nebbiolo of the top class.

Nearly 20% of the total vineyard area in the Barbaresco farm is cultivated by more than 50 wine growers, producing more than 500,000 bottles a year, of which 30% are attributable to the cruisers developed as Riserva. Nebbiolo Only wines are produced from Nebbiolo, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and nine Barbaresco Riserva from the Cruises: Asili, Montefico, Montestefano, Muncagota, Ovello, Pajè, Pora, Rabaja and Rio Sordo.
