Feudi di Guagnano srl, Via Cellino 3, 73010 Guagnano (LE), Italien
The name of the estate is misleading because "Feudi di Guagnano" is literally translated as the "Lehnsnehmer of Guagnano". In the dialect of Salento - in the deep Apulia - Feudi means, on the other hand, simply the "county of Guagnano". More than 80 years ago this vineyard was founded and managed by the three grandchildren Gianvito, Carlo and Franco of those winemakers since 2002. The love for their 30ha vineyards is written in the face of the three and their vines - almost between 25 and 30 years old - their grapes and their land and the quality they share in the 200,000 bottles per Year. With their vines, the grandsons - with the exception of the Chardonnay - rely on the traditional grapes, especially Negroamaro and Primitivo.
And a project that puts them at the top, the first vegan Negroamaro, simply Vergoamaro - a wine also for non-vegans
