The Fattoria Pogni is a small wine farm with agrotourism in the Pogni village of the same name. The winery is located near Marcialla not far from Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and thus just outside the borders of the Chianti Classico area. The origins of the Fattoria Pogni, consisting of a manor house and adjoining buildings, date back to the 14th century and has been transformed gently and lovingly into a modern accommodation with pool. In the middle of the property is the building with the wine cellar in which the maturation of the wine is carried out. The Fattoria Pogni focuses on the autochthonous grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Trebbiano and Malvasia del Chianti, which have been complemented by few vines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Alicante.
