The Chianti Colli Senesi is considered the southernmost of the Chianti zones and overlaps in part with the production areas of the Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

The grapes for the Chianti Colli Senesi are grown on the flat hills around the Trecciano winery in almost perfect south-west orientation.

After the hand harvest, the grapes are destemmed and fermented with selected yeasts for 10 days, while the pomace is regularly submerged.

The wine is pressed after complete fermentation and aged in large stainless steel tanks, before it is bottled in the spring and put into the bottle after further maturation in the bottle.
