 Amarone is one of the 4 great wines of Italy. The best, healthy grapes are dried in special crates until they have lost about 40% of their liquid. The "raisins" are then concentrated in sugar and aromas and are fermented, pressed and then matured in wooden barrels. It produces powerful, concentrated dry wines with rich fruit aromas.

For the Sant Urbano grapes are used from the best cruising position in the historic Valpolicella Classico area, dried for 100 days and lose 42% of the weight. The extraction and fermentation is carried out in stainless steel over a period of 35 days. The must is separated from the berries and the fermentation is finished in oak barrels.

The wine then ripens for 24 months in 500l barrels of French Allier oak and another 12 months in 20hl / 40 hl barrels of Slovenian oak.

The ripening finishes in the bottle before the wine goes on sale.

Decanting for 1.5-2h

Drinking temperature: 17-18 ° C
