Lambrusco distinguishes three basic types, the bright sabora, the dark, spicy grass parossa and the deep black salamino with strong tannins.
In addition, Lambrusco is offered in the following three variants: Secco (dry), Demi-Sec (half-dry) and Amabile (lovely, not to be confused with Dolce (sweet)).
This Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro was developed in the variant Amabile and is thus an ideal companion for dessert.
