Luigi Baudana - Barolo CERRETTA DOCG 2012

The grapes for this unique Barolo come from the Cru Location Cerretta of the municipality of Serrralunga d'Alba. The locations of Serralunga are said to come from especially strong and heavy Barolo and the Cru Cerretta particularly the earthy notes presents.

A strict selection of the grapes follows a fermentation which is part in oak barrels and part in stainless steel. The Barolo Cerretta then ripes for 42 months in barrels of Slovenian oak and French barrique.

The annual production is 300 boxes of 6 bottles.
