Amarone is one of the 4 great wines of Italy.
The best, healthy grapes are dried in special boxes until they have lost about 40% of their liquid.
The "raisins" are then concentrated in sugar and flavors and are fermented, pressed and then matured in wooden barrels.
It produces strong, concentrated dry wines with rich fruit flavors. The grapes from the up to 20-year-old vines are dried for 4 months and then pressed.
The extraction and fermentation is carried out over a period of 40 or 60 days.
This is followed by aging for 36 months in Slovenian oak barrels and another 6 months in bottle.
