Fresh and fruity rosé wine from Nebbiolo grapes
From Italy - Piedmont - Barbaresco - Montaribaldi
Unfortunately, rose wines do not have a particularly good reputation because they are often made as simple and boring wines made from just as simple grapes.
Montaribaldi takes the Rosato "Sigiuja" exactly in the opposite direction and uses the best grapes of Piedmont, the Nebbiolo and produces a rose wine with character and format.
The grapes are harvested approximately 1-2 weeks earlier than usual and are immediately freed from the stems in the wine cellar, cooled and slightly pressed.
After a few days, the must is pressed gently, and the fermentation takes place after 10 days of fermentation.
The wine remains on the yeast until bottling. On time for the summer, the wine is bottled and goes on sale.
Drinking temperature: 14 ° C
The Rosato Sigiuja shows a light ruby red with orange reflections
In the nose the Nebbiolo shows itself through intense fruit and floral notes
Extremely fresh and fruity on the palate with a very long finish
Perfect as aperitif, light appetizers and light meat dishes
