LE FARNETE E CANTAGALLO – Capraia Toskana
The wine-growing history of the Pierazzuoli family began in 1970 with the acquisition of Tenuta Cantagallo and continued in 1990 with the acquisition of Le Farnete in Camignano near Firenze.
Like almost every vineyard in Tuscany, Le Farnete is characterized by a mixture of vines and olive trees. The products produced include wines from one of the first protected designation of origin, Barco Reale di Carmignano and Barco Reale di Carmignano Riseva, as well as the native olive oil.
DOCG Carmignano is the only regulation in Italy where the use of Cabernet Sauvignon is compulsory in the cuvée.
