SASSO DI SOLE – Brunello Toskana
The family-run Sasso di Sole is located in the north-eastern part of Montalcino, on the edge of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Val di Orcia.
The family Sasso di Sole of the family comprise 45 hectares of land, of which about 8 hectares are used for viticulture. The stony soils of the vineyards lie between 280m and 320m high and are oriented to the south and the south-west.
Roberto Terzuoli proudly leads the family winery in the spirit of the parents Bruno and Graziella and matures according to the tradition of Montalcino the wine only in 35hl barrels from Slavonic oak.
Roberto, during his training and work with other Brunello producers, Biondi Santi has learned a lot and is consistently implementing these experiences in his own wines.
