CANTINA DI CESENA/ TENUTA AMALIA – Emilia Romagna

 

The Cantina di Cesena is located in the town of Cesena, in the heart of the gentle hills of Romagna, only a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea.

Traditionally, wines from Sangiovese and Trebbiano are sourced in this region, wines from the lesser-known indigenous white grape Albana and the red sweet wine Cagnina from Terrano grapes. Since its foundation in 1933, the Cantina Cesena has dedicated itself to the production of wines from the traditional grapes and focuses on the quality of the wines of the Tenuta Amalia. Tenuta Amalia has been marketed since 1988 by the wines of around 300 mostly small winegrowers, thus presenting the tradition and the philosophy of the Romagna winegrowing and the Cantina di Cesena.
