85% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon
The winery of the Salvadori family is situated 35 km west of Florence in Vince, in the gentle hills of the Valdarno Inferiore or the Lower Arno Valley, the birthplace of the famous Leonardo da Vinci.
A classic Chianti Riserva made from selected grapes of the province of Florence.
After the harvest, the grapes are decanted and fermented at 26-28 ° C in temperature-controlled steel tanks for about 12 days and the dyes are extracted and finally pressed.
The ripening takes place for 8-12 months in French oak and matures at least 3 months on the bottle before the wine is put into the sale.
In the glass the Chianti Riserva shows a medium ruby red with delicate brown tones
In the nose intense black berries with light notes of leather and wood
On the palate full-bodied with long fruit and velvety firm tannins
Perfect companion to the whole food, especially to strong pasta dishes
